Hello to all from Lake Powell! To picture this humungous lake, imagine the Grand Canyon all filled up with water! It's quite a sight to see.

1998 was my first experience with this lake, and I was lucky to be shown it by a bunch of Arizona Lake Powell experts! Thanks guys!

Our trip included the 12 of us, 1 sixty-foot houseboat, 2 speed boats, and 3 Jet-Skis!

The Views !
You can see amazing rocks and cliffs throughout each canyon. Hiking up on some rocks can give great views too. We all took a hike through some twisting canyons one day after seeing some Indian ruins.

The Activities !
Water skiing plays a big part of each day, as does playing "chicken" on those pollution generating Jet-Skis! Plus, a fun game of "catch-the-beer" would come up now and then.

At the end of trip we had a fishing contest. I tell you, my fish looked a lot bigger in person.

The People !
The girls, the guys, and all of us under "Rainbow Bridge" !

A number of memorable quotes came out of the trip. Here are just a few:

"Did I doze off?" -- Dr. Quinn, said while waiting during a game of Yahtzee for her turn.

"Nice one this!" -- Karen, shooting a water gun at people, after being told she was the "nice one" of the group.

"Help! My boat!" -- Mike, after a gust of wind almost stole his poorly tied-down boat.

"I hate playing cards with Mike. He's always sober." -- Wes, prior to our poker game. He lost all his money within 10 minutes.

"In honor of an old Indian tradition, I'm afraid all you ladies will have to remove your tops." -- Wes, while visiting the Indian ruins.

"Play the game, and stop looking at my wife's tits!" -- Chuck.
